Revised Memorandum of Understanding: BBC Charter Review

Revised Memorandum of Understanding: BBC Charter Review

The Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee considered a revised Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the UK Government, the Welsh Government and the BBC to formalise the consultative role for the Welsh Government and National Assembly in the BBC Charter review process. The revised MoU was intended to supersede an earlier MoU between the UK and Welsh Governments and the BBC in October 2015.

The Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee also undertook an Inquiry into the BBC Charter Review.

The Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee issued a call for evidence, which closed on Thursday 25 February 2016.
