Cross Party Group

Purpose

The cross party group on eating disorders exists to:

·         Facilitate cross party discussion and co-operation on issues relating to eating disorders in Wales.

·         Raise and maintain the profile of eating disorders within the Assembly.

·         Strengthen links between Assembly Members and service users, carers, health professionals and third sector organisations.

·         Discuss and take action in response to policy and legislation that could:

o   Impact on people with experience of eating disorders

o   Be improved to benefit people with experience of eating disorders.
