Minutes:

The Trefnydd drew Business Managers’ attention to the following changes to Tuesday’s business: 

                                     

  • Statement by the Deputy Minister for Climate Change: Closure of the Menai Bridge (30 mins)
  • Statement by the Deputy Minister for Arts and Sport, and Chief Whip: National Contemporary Art Gallery (30 mins) Withdrawn
  • Debate: The Welsh Language Commissioner’s Annual Report 2021-22 (60 mins) Postponed until 15 November

 

  • There will be no voting time.
  • Plenary is unlikely to run past 5.15pm.

The Llywydd noted that a photographer will be in the Siambr at the start of Tuesday’s proceedings to take new photos for use on the Senedd website.

  • Debate on the Local Government and Housing Committee report: The provision of sites for Gypsy, Roma and Travellers (60 mins)
  • Time allocated to Plaid Cymru (60 mins)

4.1

The Historic Environment (Wales) Bill - Timetable

Minutes:

Business Committee noted the updated timetable reflecting changes to deadlines previously agreed by the Committee.

 

 

4.2

Letter from the Chair of the Legislation, Justice and Constitution Committee regarding their Annual Report 2021/22

Minutes:

The Business Committee considered the letter and agreed to respond to the Legislation, Justice and Constitution Committee to concur that assessments of the time available for the Senedd to consider legislation are a matter for Business Committee, and to copy that response to the Counsel General and Minister for the Constitution and the Trefnydd.

Senedd Reform Work

 

Business Committee agreed that its meeting on 15 November should start at 8.45 to enable standard business to be considered prior to the commencement of a public session on recommendations made by the Special Purpose Committee on Senedd Reform. The Llywydd expressed her preference for the Committee to conduct that meeting in person.
