To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:
1. Welcomes the achievement of the Welsh
Government's autistic spectrum disorder strategic action plan.
2. Notes that more needs to be done to meet the
needs of children and adults with autism in Wales.
3. Believes that placing specific duties on local
authorities and health boards would lead to greater clarity on the care and
support that people with autism can expect.
4. Calls upon the Welsh Government to introduce an
Autism Act for Wales.
