propose that the National Assembly for Wales:
1.
Notes the key role of the planning system in contributing towards economic,
environmental and social sustainability; and
2.
Calls on the Welsh Government to reform the planning system so that it better
respects the principles of sustainable development, in particular that:
a)
Local Development Plans better reflect local housing needs;
b)
the Welsh language becomes a more meaningful planning consideration; and
c)
the planning system better facilitates green growth.
