This Cross-Party Group was registered during the Fifth Senedd but then formally indicated that it had ceased to meet.

 

Cross-party Group on Human Rights

 

Purpose

To discuss the effective and coherent promotion of human rights in Wales, and how best to ensure that People are aware of their rights and can access and enforce them. To analyse the range of rights based legislation in effect in Wales, including the Human Rights Act, assessing the effectiveness of this legislation, and discussing any change needed as circumstances arise.
