Inquiry into adoption

The Children, Young People and Education Committee undertook a follow up inquiry into the Committee’s Adoption Report which was published in November 2012.

In 2012 the Children and Young People Committee undertook an inquiry into adoption.  The purpose of the inquiry was to examine the experiences and voice of those directly affected by the adoption process.  The Committee held a public consultation to gather evidence on this topic.
