Questions to the Leader of the House and Chief Whip (in respect of her portfolio responsibilities) - Fifth Senedd
Questions to the Leader of the House and Chief Whip (in respect of her portfolio responsibilities) - Fifth Senedd
Assembly Members (AMs) may ask Oral Assembly Questions to
the Leader of the House and Chief Whip about any matter falling within their
areas of responsibility.
The Leader of the House answers questions once every four weeks that the
Assembly meets in Plenary. Oral questions are answered during a designated
Question Time in Plenary.
The Llywydd conducts a ballot to determine the names of Members who may table
questions. Each Member may enter their name into a ballot.
The Member selected must then table their oral question at least five days
before the question is due to be answered. A computer randomly selects the
order in which the questions are to be asked in Plenary.
Following the Cabinet Reshuffle on 13 December 2018, questions on most items in this portfolio are now answered by the Minster for Economy and Transport
