Inquiry into the NHS complaints process

Inquiry into the NHS complaints process

The National Assembly for Wales’s Health and Social Care Committee considered the NHS complaints process in an oral evidence session on 16 July 2014. The aim of this work was to seek to inform the Minister’s future plans for the complaints process in NHS Wales, including how the recommendations of the report on the Review of Concerns (Complaints) Handling within NHS Wales should be taken forward.

The terms of reference for this inquiry were to consider the effectiveness of arrangements for handling complaints in NHS Wales, and what could be learnt from the recent reviews of complaints handling in Wales and England.
