To inform the
Committee’s inquiry into The
Emotional and Mental Health of Children and Young People, two surveys are
currently underway – one with children
and young people, the other with education professionals.
The Children & Young People survey explores what support is provided at school or college to help pupils feel more confident in talking about their emotional and mental health. The professionals’ survey seeks views on whether they feel able and supported to offer emotional intelligence and healthy coping mechanisms to students.
