Description: What if there was a way that recipients of social care could pool together their direct payments for care? A way that they could enjoy activities as a group rather than on their own, if they chose to? What if there was a way to reduce the cost of care hours? A pioneering new model for public sector spending? That way is Leonard Cheshire’s ‘Innovation for Active Communities’ programme. Following a successful pilot project in Anglesey, the programme is being rolled out across Wales. To find out more about this exciting opportunity, please contact our Policy and Public Affairs Manager Rhian Stangroom-Teel (Rhian.Stangroom-Teel@leonardcheshire.org) to register your interest in this launch event.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
