Description: The Welsh Language Commissioner publishes a report which asks whether Welsh speakers’ experiences of public services are improving. Rights taking Root considers whether the imposition of standards on organisations has led to improvements and whether organisations are enabling and encouraging people to use the Welsh language day-to-day. Speaker: Cllr. Ellen ap Gwynn, Welsh Local Government Association. The report will be published on the Welsh Language Commissioner's website on the same day www.welshlanguagecomissioner.wales During the morning a workshop will be held for officer from public organisations’ to consider the need to promote and facilitate the use of the Welsh language.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
