Paper 1 – Auditor General for Wales report Supporting documents:

The Auditor General for Wales provided an oral briefing on the findings of his
Report on Public Procurement in Wales, which was published on 17 October. The
Auditor General advised the Committee that a further report on the National Procurement
Service was scheduled to be published by the end of the year. 3.2
Members noted the report and agreed to undertake an inquiry when the Auditor
General’s Report on the National Procurement Service is published. |

Paper 2 – Inquiry scoping paper Supporting documents:

Members considered the scoping paper for the forthcoming inquiry on the
Supporting People Programme 4.2
Members agreed that the inquiry should focus on the impact of wider policy
developments; funding distribution and financial planning; and monitoring and
evaluation of the programme’s impact. Members also agreed to undertake a written
consultation. |

Dafydd, Research Service. Sally Jones, Communications Team, spoke about the
findings from the focus group meetings undertaken with care experienced

Members discussed the inquiry scope and potential witnesses for Part 1 of the
inquiry. |
