Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Minutes:

1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee. The Chair extended a special welcome to Sioned Williams MS as the Committee continues its joint inquiry with the Children, Young People, and Education Committee into Welsh in Education Strategic Plans (WESPs). Apologies were received from Buffy Williams MS.

2.2 The Committee agreed to write to the Deputy Minister for Arts and Sport, and Chief Whip to raise concerns shared with the Committee regarding Newquest.

 

2.3 The Committee agreed to write to the UK Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport regarding the UK Government’s proposed Media Bill.

 

2.4 The Committee also agreed to write to the Deputy Minister for Arts and Sport, and Chief Whip to seek clarity on the support being offered to Rubicon Dance.
