2.1. The Committee received evidence from:

2.2. The Minister for Climate Change agreed to provide further information on:

·         the reasons why many ethnic minority parents have presented themselves as homeless to local authorities;

·         an outline of the implementation timetable for the Renting Homes (Wales) Act, and, when available, a note on the lessons learned from the legislation.

3.1.a The Committee noted the letter from the Minister for Climate Change in relation to the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales' report "Homelessness Reviewed: an open door to positive change".

3.2.a The Committee noted the letter from the Minister for Climate Change in relation to housing matters raised by the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA).

4.1 The Committee agreed the motion.

5.1 The Committee discussed the evidence received under item 2.

6.1. The Committee discussed the Business Committee review of the committee timetable and remits.
