2.1 The Committee received evidence from the Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing, the Deputy Minister for Social Services, and Welsh Government officials.

2.2 The Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing agreed to provide the Committee with an update on the Welsh Government’s position on the extension of section 25B of the Nurse Staffing Levels (Wales) Act 2016 to mental health inpatient settings.

2.3 The Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing agreed to provide the Committee with an update on the development and implementation of the mental health core data set.
