Forward work programme - discussion of early business Supporting documents:
Minutes: 5 1 The Committee had a discussion about early business and
considered a draft forward work programme for the autumn term. 5.2 The Committee agreed to invite the Cabinet Secretary for
Communities and Children to attend a meeting early in the autumn term to
discuss his priorities within his portfolio. The Committee also agreed to
invite the Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language to attend a
scrutiny session to discuss the role and priorities of the recently announced
Valleys Taskforce. 5.3 To begin its work programme, the Committee agreed to
undertake a piece of post-legislative scrutiny work on the implementation of
the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act
2015, to be carried out in the autumn term. 5.4 To help inform the Committee’s longer term forward
work programme, the Committee agreed to write to stakeholders over the summer
to ask for views on priorities and the potential scope of future inquiries. |
