P-05-719 Welsh Assembly Funding of Services Supporting documents:
Minutes: The
Committee considered the petition for the first time and agreed to close the
petition on the basis that it is not the Committee’s role to suggest to third
sector organisations that they seek funding from the Welsh Government. The
Committee also agreed to write to the petitioner suggesting that he may wish to
share the Cabinet Secretary’s letter with any organisations he feels would
benefit from information about funding from the Welsh Government or local
authorities. |

Minutes: The
Committee considered correspondence on the petition and agreed to write to: ·
Keep
Wales Tidy to ask for their reflections on the petition and the suggestions
made by the petitioners, including whether elements of the Wildlife Warriors proposal
could be incorporated into Eco Schools; and ·
the
petitioners, sharing information that the Cabinet Secretary has provided about
a new project, Bee Friendly/Caru Gwenyn. |

P-05-715 A Ban on the Manufacture, Sale and Use of Snares in Wales Supporting documents: Minutes: The
Committee noted that the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs
Committee is holding a scrutiny session on the use of snares on 30 November
2016. The
Committee agreed to await an update following the scrutiny session and consider
the petition at a future meeting, alongside an expected update from the Cabinet
Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs. |
