Statement by the First Minister

The First Minister apologised to the Member for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr for the answer given to him in First Minister’s Questions the previous week, noting that both he and the Member concerned had received apologies from the health board in relation to incorrect information on which the exchange had been based. The First Minister stated that he believed the information was passed to his office in good conscience and subsequently passed to him in good faith. He made clear that the information was not personally requested by him.
