Minutes:

5.1 The Chair said that apologies for absence had been received by Rhodri Glyn Thomas and Peter Black, for that item, given their roles on the Assembly Commission.  The Chair welcomed Elin Jones, who was substituting for Rhodri Glyn Thomas, in accordance with Standing Order 17.48.

5.2 The Chair welcomed Rhodri Glyn Thomas, who was there to give evidence to the Committee in his capacity as the Assembly Commissioner with responsibility for the Welsh Language and the Member in charge of the Bill.

5.3 The Committee received evidence on the Bill.

Consideration of Evidence: Private Session

The Committee will be invited to resolve to exclude the public from item 6 of the meeting in accordance with Standing Order 17.42(vi):
