About the Bill
The Bill aimed to simplify procedures for making and enforcing local authority byelaws. The Bill introduces an alternative procedure for local authorities to follow in making a number of byelaws.

Agrees to the general principles of the Local Government
Byelaws (Wales) Bill.
The Local Government Byelaws (Wales) Bill and Explanatory Memorandum were
laid before the Assembly on 28 November 2011;
The report of the Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee on
the Local Government Byelaws (Wales) Bill was laid before the Assembly on 30
March 2012.
